A storage company has set a challenge to completely fill one of its storage units with Easter eggs for charity.
Access Self Storage has launched its annual Easter Egg campaign, looking to fill an empty 2.5m sq storage unit in Wembley with boxed chocolate eggs.
These will be donated to The Felix Project and FareShare, two food redistribution charities.
The Felix Project fights against food waste and hunger in London, while FareShare redistributes food nationally.
Jan Albert Fourie, general manager of operations at Access Self Storage, said: "It's so important for our store teams to work closely with their local communities and to be able to help those that will really benefit from this collection."
Richard Smith, head of food supply at The Felix Project, said: "We are delighted to be working with Access Self Storage and receiving Easter Eggs.
"We know that many families struggle to afford to feed their families and at times like Easter parents often feel more pressure to spend money they do not have on luxuries like chocolate eggs."
The Easter Egg Appeal has collected more than 8000 chocolate eggs since it started in 2011.
Donations can be made at the Access Self Storage in Wembley Stadium Industrial Estate, between March 1 and March 25.
