An Asda store was closed for hours after a hoax bomb scare.
Customers in the Asda Colindale superstore, Edgware Road, were evacuated by police after the shop received a hoax call on Wednesday (April 17).
An alarm was set off as several police vehicles rushed to the scene while customers stood outside the shop.

It is understood that Asda informed police about the call, which claimed there was a bomb at the shop, however officers found this was not the case.
According to one customer, staff were allowed back in just before 6pm.
An Asda spokesperson said: “I can confirm the store received a hoax call and followed standard process.”
