Two people are in hospital with one suffering from life-threatening injuries after a double stabbing at a north London hospital.
Police were called to Central Middlesex Hospital at around 1.20pm yesterday afternoon (June 22) to reports of a stabbing.
One man who had self-inflicted life-threatening injuries was arrested outside the hospital.

Armed officers were among those called to the scene at 1.18pm.
Officers attending found two people with stab injuries. Police later said that one of the victim’s injuries were being treated as life-threatening, while the other’s were not.
A man was arrested outside the hospital in connection with the incident. He was subsequently taken to hospital with self-inflicted injuries.
Police saidhis condition was also life-threatening.
The Metropolitan Police have been contacted for an update on the condition of all three.
The London Ambulance Service confirmed it had attended the hospital with London’s Air Ambulance, where it treated three people for their injuries.
Gareth Browne, a steeplejack contracted to repair the chimney at the Acton Lane hospital, claimed that a man went on a “mad rampage” with a pickaxe.
Central Middlesex Hospital went into lockdown during the attack. One eyewitness said that she was locked in a nurses’ room for 45 minutes while police checked the building.
Amie Ferris-Rotman was at Central Middlesex Hospital visiting the hospital dialysis unit with her father.
She told Sky News: “All the dialysis patients were quite freaked out.
“And at one point those who were about to go onto dialysis were put on wheelchairs and brought into a room, which is where we were as well, and they were locked in.”
Central Middlesex Hospital later reopened. A spokesperson for the hospital trust said: “We can confirm an incident took place at Central Middlesex Hospital this afternoon.
“Police are on site and the hospital was temporarily locked down for a short period of time as a precautionary measure.
“Working closely with the Metropolitan Police, we have now reopened the hospital and services will continue as normal.”
Police confirmed that they have launched an investigation into the incident, which is not being treated as terror-related.
There is a heightened police presence at the hospital while officers investigate.
