Firefighters cleared potentially explosive gas cylinders from a blazing restaurant near a tube station.
Fire crews were rushed to Walm Lane in Willesden Green, just a short walk from Willesden Green station, this afternoon (October 10) after the blaze broke out in the middle of a three-storey terrace building with flats above.
The first of 16 999 calls was received at 12pm and 40 firefighters in six fire engines were rushed to the scene.

Half of the roof of a single storey extension at the back of the building was damaged by the fire.
The London Fire Brigade says ducting from the ground floor to the third floor was also alight.
There were a number of gas cylinders inside the building, and they were cooled and removed before they could explode due to the heat.
The fire was under control by 12.41pm, but crews remain at the scene to dampen the area.
The cause of the fire will be investigated.
