Two county line drug dealers have been jailed after police believed their supply was potentially linked to four non-fatal overdoses.
Emmanuel Ohenebeng and Dylan Clarke, both of Sellons Avenue, Harlesden, have been jailed for a combined total of six years and eight months for their part in a drugs gang operating between London and Portsmouth.
Appearing at Portsmouth Crown Court on Friday (January 12), Ohenebeng, 23, and Clarke, 21, were jailed for four years and 32 months respectively.
Officers in Portsmouth began to investigate the supply of drugs in the area after enquiries indicated Ohenebeng was the primary ‘ghost’ line holder from May 2023, with support from Clarke.
Police were concerned about the county line as it was potentially linked to four non-fatal overdoses in the city.
On July 10 last year, CCTV enquires led to an address at All Saints Road in Portsmouth and Ohenebeng was spotted inside.
A flat was searched and a large amount of class A drugs – estimated to be worth £35,000 – were found in a bathroom as well as a bag containing £6,520.
In the kitchen, a large quantity of heroin, a large 'rambo' knife and other drug items along with mobile phones were found in a drawer.
Ohenebeng previously admitted in court being concerned in the supply of and possession with intent to supply, crack cocaine and heroin.
Clarke was jailed for being concerned with the supply of crack cocaine and heroin.
