A late-night blaze in a retail park destroyed an 18-tonne lorry and damaged another.
London Fire Brigade was called to reports of a truck on fire in the car park of B&Q in Depot Approach, Cricklewood at 10.06pm on Sunday (February 18).
One 18-tonne heavy goods vehicle was destroyed and part of another 16-tonne diesel HGV was also damaged by the flames, the brigade said today (Monday).
A spokesperson said the incident was over for firefighters at midnight. There were no reports of any injuries.
Cllr Anne Clarke, who represents Cricklewood, posted pictures of the fire and a video on X showing smoke pouring from the burning lorry.
She said: "We don’t yet know the details but I want to thank @LondonFire for their quick response to a vehicle fire at B&Q Cricklewood this evening."
Two engines from West Hampstead fire station attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
