A pensioner has been charged after a 72-year-old man was killed on a residential street in Wembley.
Derek Brown, 72, of Cromwell Road appeared in custody at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Saturday (March 23) charged with murder, causing grievous bodily harm with intent and possessing a bladed article in a public place.
The incident came to light on Thursday (March 21) when police were called to reports of a stabbing in Cromwell Road at around midday.

Emergency Services attended and found an injured Richard Brathwaite who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Metropolitan Police said his next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
A special post-mortem examination that took place on March 23 confirmed the cause of death as a stab injury.
A woman, aged in her 70s, was also said to have suffered non life-threatening injuries.
