Police were called to reports of shots fired in a residential street.
Officers searched Crawford Street in Stonebridge yesterday (May 15) after being made aware of shots fired at about 4.30pm.
Despite an extensive search, nobody with injuries was found in the area.
A crime scene however remains in place today (May 16), although no arrests have been made at this time.
The Metropolitan Police says enquiries are ongoing.
