A man has been taken to hospital after an incident on a major bridge in south London.
Concerns for the welfare of a man were raised at Lambeth Bridge just after 8am today (June 10).
Officers and London Ambulance Service crews attended, and the man was treated before being taken to hospital.
The bridge was closed as the incident was dealt with but it reopened just after 9am.

A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said: “The bridge was closed this morning due to concerns for the welfare of a man.
“He was taken to hospital then bridge was reopened around after 9am.”
The full Metropolitan Police statement says: “The bridge was closed this morning due to concerns for the welfare of a man.
“He was taken to hospital then bridge was reopened around after 9am.”
