A park was closed off after reports of a teenage girl being raped at a park.
Police closed off Brent River Park, near Stonebridge Park station, on Wednesday night (June 12) and most of Thursday (June 13), restricting access to the public.
Officers were called at 10.43pm to reports that a girl, 17, had been raped by two men in Tokyngton Park – in a section near Brent River Park.
The victim was found and supported by officers at the scene before they searched the area, but the suspects had fled the park.
Specialist officers were informed and forensic examinations were completed.
Two men have since been arrested on suspicion of rape and remain in custody at this time.
Brent River Park has since reopened to the public, with all police tape removed.
