A supermarket is preparing to open its latest store in a new canalside neighbourhood.
Co-op is set to launch its latest store on Friday, June 28 at the Grand Union in Wembley.
The purpose-built supermarket will create 15 jobs and feature an instore bakery, Costa Coffee Express and hot food section, as well as fresh and chilled produce.
It will also feature an online home delivery service through Deliveroo and Uber Eats.
Co-op store manager Azar Mahroof said: "The whole team is delighted to have the opportunity to launch Co-op’s newest store, and we are looking forward to welcoming residents and visitors to Grand Union.
"Our aim is to operate at the heart of local life and we have worked to develop the range, choice and added services to create a compelling offer to serve our community, conveniently."
The Grand Union is a 22-acre canalside neighbourhood by St George, a member of the Berkeley Group.
It include resident-only amenities, coffee shops, a gym and a nursery, set to open in September.
Marcus Blake, regional managing director at St George, said the team are "really excited" to open the new Co-op this month.
The store will open daily from 7am until 10pm.
