A serving Metropolitan Police officer has been charged with sexual assault against two colleagues.
PC Saif Iqbal, whose police unit covers Barnet, Brent and Harrow, is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (June 26).
In total, he has been charged with seven counts of sexual assault.
The charges relate to two different women, both of whom are police officers.
The incidents took place between October 2020 and November 2021, while the officer was both on and off-duty.
The Metropolitan Police have confirmed that PC Iqbal is currently suspended from duty.
