Six people were injured after a bus crashed into a shop at a busy road.
Harrow Road in Maida Vale was closed from 2.18pm this afternoon (July 16) after a number 18 bus crashed into the West Nine Food & Wine shop.
The bus was full with passengers when it crashed into scaffolding outside the shop and then into the building.
According to the Metropolitan Police, six people, including the bus driver, were treated by medics at the scene.
However none of the injuries are thought to be serious.
There have been no arrests at this time, the Met said.
But Harrow Road remains closed both ways, with queuing traffic between Amberley Road and Chippenham Road as of 4.30pm.
Both the 18 and 36 bus services are being diverted from Harrow Road due to the closure.
Police have asked anyone with information or dashcam footage to contact the Met on 101 or message @MetCC on X quoting 4316/16JUL.
