A major disruption has been declared on all lines at London Victoria due to a fire alarm alert.
National Rail confirmed on X (formally known as Twitter) that all services were disrupted just after 7.30pm today (August 6).
The alert has caused major disruption to trains to and from the station until the end of the day.
Train services are now continuing to be cancelled and delayed by up to 60 minutes.
London Victoria was closed as the incident was dealt with but it has since reopened.
In advice to commuters, National Rail said: “We now recommend you use an alternative route, if you can.
“In particular, if you are able to use London Bridge as an alternative, please do so.”
We have contacted British Transport Police for further information.
