A points failure at a busy train station in London has caused disruption of up to five hours.
All services between Vauxhall and London Waterloo have been disrupted since around 9.30am today (August 12).
National Rail confirmed on X (formally known as Twitter) that disruption was initially expected until 12pm.
However, this has now been extended until 2pm.
Some services running between these stations may also be cancelled or delayed by up to 30 minutes.
As a result of the failure, trains will also no longer stop at Queenstown Road station in either direction.
Commuters have been advised by National Rail to check before they travel and to find alternative routes where possible.
