Two pedestrians were injured in a “hit and run” crash outside a tube station.
Police were called to reports of a crash outside North Acton station in Victoria Road shortly after 8am this morning (August 13).
London Ambulance Service also attended the scene, where two pedestrians were found injured.
One patient was treated at the scene while the other was rushed to hospital. Their injuries have since been assessed as “non life-threatening”.
A police spokesperson said the driver of the car involved in the crash left the scene before officers arrived.
No arrests have been made at this time, but police enquiries continue.
Victoria Road remains closed, forcing the detour of bus routes 218, 260, 266, 440 and 487.
Anyone with information, or dash cam footage, is asked to call police on 101 quoting CAD 1706/13AUG.
