Two drug dealers have been jailed after being caught with a boot full of cannabis plants.
Nikolin Marku, 31, of Victoria Road in Acton, and Aleksander Gjoni, 25, of Vicars Bridge Close in Wembley, were jailed for drug offences committed in Ipswich.
On February 14 officers stopped a car which Gjoni was passenger in.
During the stop officers gathered intelligence which linked him to an address in Cullingham Road, Ipswich.
Officers then saw another man attend the address and place full bin bags into the boot of his car.
That car, driven by Marku, was then stopped and a boot full of cannabis plants was discovered.
Gjoni was then arrested during a search of the property in Cullingham Road, where a cannabis cultivation site was found.
Both men were subsequently charged with and pleaded guilty to production and being concerned in the supply of cannabis.
At Ipswich Crown Court on Wednesday (August 28) Marku was sentenced to three years’ imprisonment.
Gjoni was handed a nine-month prison sentence.
