A person has been found injured after a two-car crash on the M4 in London.
The incident happened on the eastbound section of the M4 at junction two at around 9am today (October 7).
Police and London Ambulance Service attended and the occupant of one of the cars was found injured.
Their condition was assessed as non-life threatening.
All lanes were closed as the incident was dealt with however it has since reopened.
Severe delays remain in the area with delays up to one hour on approach.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at approximately 09:00hrs on Monday, 7 October to reports of two cars in collision on the eastbound section of the M4 at junction 2.
“Officers and London Ambulance Service attended.
“An occupant of one of the cars was treated for injuries at the scene – their condition is not thought to be life threatening.
“Road closures were put in place while the scene was dealt with.
“One lane has since reopened.
“Enquiries into the circumstances continue.”
