A girl who went missing for five days has been found safe and well.
Police were concerned for the welfare of an “incredibly helpful” girl, Beatrice, who was last seen on October 19.
The girl, who also goes by the name of Betty garnered much attention on social media as appeals were shared in hopes to find her.
Community group My Romania Community said: “Beatrice is a wonderful young person who is very active in community activities, always incredibly helpful.
“Many of you may know her from our community activities, community concert and literature events as well as outreach in the community.”
The Metropolitan Police said at the time it was concerned for her welfare.
In an update on Thursday evening (October 24), the force said: Beatrice has been located safe and well, we want to take this opportunity to thank the community and anyone involved for the help and support in locating her.”
