A 2-year-old boy has been killed after being hit by a car in Wembley.
Police were called to reports of a crash in Rowley Close, Alperton, between Wembley and Stonebridge, on October 27 at 7.15pm.
The toddler was rushed to hospital for treatment but he later died from his injuries.
The Metropolitan Police said that the driver of the car is assisting officers with the investigation and no arrests have been made.
A spokesperson said: “Police are investigating a fatal collision that took place in Rowley Close, Wembley at around 19:15hrs on Sunday, 27 October.
“A car was in collision with a two-year-old boy at the location. He was taken to hospital but despite the best efforts of medical staff he sadly died.
“The driver of the car has been spoken to. They have not been arrested.”
An investigation is ongoing and anyone with information which could help police is asked to call the Serious Collision Investigation Unit at Alperton on 020 8246 9820.
