ITV's latest crime drama After the Flood is set to grab viewers within moments as dramatic scenes open the new series.
Written by Mick Ford, After the Flood follows pregnant PC Jo Marshall as she discovers a dead man in a lift of an underground car park after a flood.
Police assume the man became trapped by rising water, but Jo thinks not all is as it seems.
As the PC becomes obsessed with discovering the truth, the investigation changes her life forever.
After the Flood on ITV stars Sophie Rundle who has appeared in many acclaimed TV programmes like Peaky Blinders, Gentleman Jack, Bodyguard and Happy Valley to name just a few.
Philip Glenister also stars in the new ITV drama, Glenister has featured in many popular shows and films including Steeltown Murders, Belgravia, Life on Mars, Kingdom of Heaven, Calendar Girls and more.
Writer Mick Ford has worked on many shows including Netflix's Stay Close, Safe as well as BBC's Ashes to Ashes, Hunter and Single Father.

How to watch ITV After the Flood
Viewers can watch After the Flood on ITV1 and ITVX starting on Wednesday, January 10 at 9pm.
There will be a total of eight episodes, each airing weekly at the same time and will be available to watch on ITVX.
