Frank Warren was delighted that Daniel Dubois was able to silence the critics after completing his redemption moment victory over heavyweight rival Jarrell Miller in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The 26-year-old former Dale Youth ABC representative bounced back from his controversial loss to Ukraine's unified heavyweight world champion Oleksandr Usyk from August to inflict Miller's first professional loss in 28 bouts with a 10th-round stoppage.
American Brooklyn-based Miller, 35, could not respond to the Londoner's continued onslaught of wild bombing hooks towards the closing stages of round 10, prompting referee Michael Alexander to halt the bout after 2.52.
"To this occasion it really mattered and that was a big moment," said Dubois, who has now won 20 of his 22 outings and is promoted by legendary Islington-born Warren.
"I'm thankful to my dad (Dave) and the support from my team from the way I performed and I came through this.
"I can take punishment and dish it out and that was what it was about. Miller came to work and it was a great fight. Whatever I was lacking before I felt I gained it tonight and that was experience."
Queensberry Promotions head paymaster Warren is keen to put Dubois back into the world title mix next year.
"He's back at the big table," he said. "So now we are looking for some big fights next year.
"He can have a nice break over Christmas because remember he's gone back-to-back camps in significant fights and obviously the last one was a world title and this one was like redemption. He had to work very hard.
"It was a really tough fight against a guy who is a competitor, who's also very smart mentally and takes a shot.
"I mean he (Miller) hit him with some bombs he would normally take people out with. He sucks them up, sucks him up and at the end obviously he obviously he got through and done what he had to do.
"For me he's proven all the doubters wrong. He did what he had to do because he had to suck up there. He had to dig deep against a guy who generally thought he was going to beat him so hats off, he's done the business!"
